Allion USA-SGS has been authorized by Intel® as a trusted lab partner to provide official testing services for the Intel Display Ecosystem Validation Program.

Inquiry

To deliver quality with confidence to the PC industry, Allion USA-SGS has launched a brand new validation program for display testing. This Program defines testing specifications for a display panel in order to meet the standards of performance. The goal is to provide test results as a reference for companies who are interested in finding the right displays for their products. The displays that meet the testing specifications will receive Allion USA-SGS’s test certification.

Test Category

Low Power Display Measurement

The goals are to provide information on display power consumption and whether the displays meet the requirement of  Intel® “Low Power Display Technology (LPDT)” requirements. The information serves as a reference for any companies who are interested to use the displays for their product integration. For more information, please refer to the Intel® Low Power Display Technology (LPDT) Specification & Intel® Display Optics Specification for Project Athena.

Display Optics Test

The Display Optical Test is designed to evaluate the panel characteristics with certain requirements of brightness, contrast, color, and more to help OEMs and Panel vendors in the panel selection process before the mechanical design is finalized and ensure panels are qualified for Project Athena designs. For more on Display Optics Tests, please refer to the Intel® Low Power Display Technology (LPDT) Specification & Intel® Display Optics Specification for Project Athena.
